The Center for Business, Government & Society in collaboration with Professor Tracy Bach and the Revers Center for Energy, Sustainability, and Innovation is thrilled to publish our application for the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29). Since 2009, CBGS and Revers have selected and prepared a delegation to attend COP. COP29 will be held in Azerbaijan, a unique host country that aims to bridge the gap between the global north and south in climate finance and action. COP29 is particularly significant as it will focus on addressing the urgent needs of climate-vulnerable and least-developed countries, aiming to establish a new global climate finance goal to support these nations effectively.
We encourage all T’25s interested in COP29 to take the time to read this newsletter thoroughly to understand the COP29 timeline, expectations, and the road ahead. COP is a fantastic opportunity for MBA candidates to better understand how businesses, policymakers, advocates, and academics come together to play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future.
